Who am I?
Hi, I’m Upendra Upadhyay! (well, you might know it by now since you’re on here). I’m a techie guy in my early thirties, living in Delhi, India.
I have masters in computers and over the period of years, I’ve worked as a software developer, Technical Project Manager, VP and most recently as CTO of a startup.
In these years, donning different roles-I’ve built tens of websites, deployed applications for small and medium enterprises, digitized tax systems, leading product development, integrated legacy applications, mobilized workforce, improved uptime of mission critical applications, deployed mobile apps, reconstructed server farms and even deployed calling servers for BPOs among others.
I’ve had the opportunity to work in product and app deployment in different domains, namely – education, taxation, collaboration, training, e-commerce, social media and ERP.
I’ve led the transformation of products and applications for Indian Oil, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Air India, Textron, NEC, DLF, Signature Global, HPL and Apollo Hospitals as part of my responsibilities with different companies.
I love programming, travelling and learning new things. I love to make things that make a meaningful difference in someone’s life or make mundane tasks easier.
After working for almost 11+ years and having different personal domains, during this lockdown (as of Apr’ 2021), I’m rebooting my website. This time around I plan to build a website and start blogging on technical topics. I believe that the experience I’ve had can be shared with people which may help them.
I’m always open for collaboration or side-gig, please let me know if we can work together on something.
For what I’m doing currently, you can see my Now Page.
